Religious Violence in The Old Testament and in History / A Discussion

March 6 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

This event is being brought to you by ReThink315 in partnership with St Louis Community College and Dr. Sahar Joakim (Philosophy Dept).

From ancient Israel to modern headlines, religion is often blamed for violence. But is that accusation fair? In this panel discussion with extended audience Q&A, two speakers examine religious violence in history and the Old Testament, exploring context, interpretation, and how sacred texts are often misused. Designed for college students who want more than sound bites.

Join one Christian, one Jew, one curious moderator and a captive college aged audience for this impactful event.
