Science, Genesis, & Faith / Dr. Michael Farley

This equipping event is being brought to you by ReThink315 in partnership with The Journey Church (West County). This is event three of six in a series. All teens – adults welcome.
TOPIC: Science, Genesis, and Faith
SPEAKER: Dr. Mike Farley
QUESTION: Does modern science contradict Genesis? Do Christians have to choose between intellectual integrity and biblical conviction?
From evolution to the age of the earth, from scientific discovery to theological interpretation, this session tackles the tension many believers quietly feel. Dr. Farley will help us think clearly about how Christians historically have understood Genesis — and how faith and science can engage one another without fear.
Instead of forcing false dilemmas, we’ll explore thoughtful frameworks that allow us to honor both God’s Word and God’s world. Clarity replaces confusion. Confidence replaces anxiety.
